Lewis Hamilton won the Styrian Grand Prix in Spielberg, Austria, on Sunday, then raised his fist while standing on the podium.

The first Black driver in Formula One, Hamilton won his first race of the season, marking at least one win in 14 consecutive years. He shared the image of himself on the podium via Instagram and thanked his fellow drivers for their support.

"We stand together," Hamilton, 35, of Great Britain wrote. "The team today took the knee which was just amazing to see that together we can learn and be open minded of what's going on in the world. "

The victory on Sunday was the 85th of Hamilton's career. Michael Schumacher holds the all-time record with 91.
